Section titled “How do I use a key?”Buy at buy.2kmate.net, then paste the key into 2K Mate’s activation field. It binds to this machine by HWID.
Can I switch computers?
Section titled “Can I switch computers?”Licenses bind to hardware. To re-bind after a hardware change or OS reinstall, reach out in the official Discord or QQ group.
What payment methods are supported?

Can I get a refund?
Section titled “Can I get a refund?”Keys are digital goods and are generally non-refundable once activated. If unsure, ask in the community before buying.
Install & run

Section titled “Which systems are supported?”Windows 10 / 11 (x64) and macOS (Apple Silicon, M1 and up).
Windows install is blocked?
Section titled “Windows install is blocked?”When SmartScreen warns, click “More info → Run anyway”.
macOS says “damaged / cannot verify developer”?
Section titled “macOS says “damaged / cannot verify developer”?”Right-click the icon → Open, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
Will updating lose my license or settings?
Section titled “Will updating lose my license or settings?”No. Install over the top — your license, settings and pairing data are kept automatically.
Streaming & farming

Section titled “What hardware do I need?”A streamable PlayStation or Xbox console signed into your 2K account, plus the PC running 2K Mate.
Can’t connect to the console?
Section titled “Can’t connect to the console?”The app log reports the cause (firewall blocking UDP, PC and console on different networks, remote features off, etc.) — follow it. Keep both devices on the same LAN.
What’s the difference between VC and MT?
Section titled “What’s the difference between VC and MT?”VC is for MyCareer / The City; MT is for MyTeam. 2K Mate supports both — pick what you need.
Can I farm multiple accounts at once?
Section titled “Can I farm multiple accounts at once?”Yes. Multiple independent instances can run in parallel.
